This year the Festival of new and improvised music features living legend Oliver Lake, as wellas Donald Robinson, Big City Orchestra, Brett Carson’s Mysterious Descent, Brandon Evans with Mark Pino and Christina Stanley, Dan Plonsey, inner Ear Brigade, Dirty Snacks Ensemble, Vinny Golia, Lisa Mezzacappa, Thomas Carnacki, IMA and more along with a hands on interactive Touch the Gear Expo a documentary film about Sonny Simmons, and an improvisation music workshop for all ages.
